Reduction (WGWR). He has developed practical application of his research
through the Interfaith Initiative in Cambodia. I want to live in

I started my work in The Alliance for conflict Transformation in late
of 2006 as Volunteer. The works guide me a lot about peace, conflict resolution
and Mutual understanding among ethnics groups in Cambodia. Working with
all ethnics groups in Cambodia is the most interesting for me because
I got many new lessons learn come from the people who are different background,
culture, tradition and their concept. As a person working in Inter-Ethnic
Peace Building Project (IEPB), I strongly hope that I can contribute peace
building in multi-ethnic context to my nation, communities as well as
other people in the world through my works by promoting and sharing multi-culture
awareness.

Pheak joined ACT in 2007 after working with a youth volunteer club I
found many problems related to ethnic conflict that cause domestic violence
in communities, so I enjoy working to help them live in peace and happiness
even its not directly to them but I can be a part of society development
toward peace in the future

I am started working with ACT-IIPC since September 2009 as project manager. I enjoy with this job because it is similar with my previous job in ecumenical churches focus among Christian and IIPC work wider to other religious for Peacebuilding in communities. I do hope a true spiritual conversion will respect the dignity and value of persons and religious traditions. All religious communities in Cambodia need join hands to make our region one in which our shared values of peace, compassion, justice and harmony truly come to shape and characterize society.

Viseth start working with ACT in IIPC project since November 2008 as
research assistant.
I enjoy my work as it gives me an opportunity to know, to acknowledge,
contributing to make peace. I want my country living in peaceful coexistence
between people from different ethnic backgrounds and faiths so I do know
(Who am I? Who are they? How do we make peace?). Knowing and understanding
is the first step of peace building so now I am a piece of a part to contribute
to do it.
